Corrupt pardons are a symptom of the disease of corruption. As long as the congress and republican voters embrace or just tolerate this corruption it will persist. It is up to the citizens of America to reject this corruption. As long as good people, like Liz Oyer, speak up and call out the corruption there is a chance we can rehabilitate America.

How do we the People send an extremely strong message that we want Trump's pardons to be deemed improper and overturned?

Can they be overturned legally? I was told we can't reverse them. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Here's what I received from your question: Generally, a presidential pardon cannot be legally overturned or revoked by Congress, the courts, or a subsequent president once it has been officially delivered and accepted. Under Article II of the Constitution, the president's pardon power is considered "plenary" (absolute), with only two primary exceptions: it only applies to federal crimes and cannot be used in cases of impeachment. We have seen Trump attempt to engage in state legal matters and grant pardons for state crimes.

There are three very narrow circumstances where a pardon's validity can be challenged:

Failure of Delivery: A president can revoke their own pardon (or a predecessor's) if the formal paperwork hasn't reached the recipient yet.

Refusal: The Supreme Court ruled in Burdick v. United States (1915) that a person can legally reject a pardon, as acceptance implies an admission of guilt.

Fraud: While rare and historically debated, some legal scholars argue that a pardon obtained through documented bribery or fraud could potentially be declared void by a court.

I keep hearing amazement at the actions of Donald that harm people. He has no empathy, meaning he only cares about himself. We only need to think about the definition of empathy and what that means to understand.

This is one of the many things that get my dander (blood pressure) up!!! I want my country back!!! Besides Trump and his cabinet I want the 6 SCOTUS members gone!!! It has been proven that we have tons of politicians, lawyers and Judges with honor and willingness to keep focused on the Constitutional law.

Meaning…posts like yours keep me hopeful! Thank you!

I’d really like to see a list of the 77 pardoned criminals that were involved with the January 6th, 2001 insurrection at the Capitol Building.

BTW…. That’s an old Chicago, Cicero cook county Il trick. The outfit (mafia) guys were made sheriffs so they could carry a gun and basically a get out jail free card. A lot of those guys did that.
