I believe you are the exact kind of person we need right now! I share your posts as one of the most informed explaining to the rest of us.

Bravo Liz! It’s going to take courage like yours to stop the madness, and to begin the process of restructuring our Government and holding the criminals, including Todd Blanche, accountable. I’m sorry you and your family have to go through all of this. I am a huge fan of yours.Thank you for standing up, speaking out and showing up! Maybe you should consider running for president in 2028.

She is a prime example of an intelligent, honest and strong woman who should never have been abused by Blanche. He should be tossed out of office today. Everyone should support her in her fight for justice

Jaime Ramirez's avatar

Well, whether or not she's ready to be President, it behooves the next president to consider her for AG or some other major role as a legal advisor.

Tom Tvedten's avatar

Liz would make a great AG.

Ms. Oyer is not only extremely well spoken, but she makes the indisputable point that her firing from the DOJ was totally political. The government, any government needs bright, highly educated people in any department of justice. The people appointed by this president have been taken from their habitats, under various rocks in Rock Creek Park and placed in positions of high authority for which they have no expertise. ALL of this president's appointees are unqualified for their positions. But they are not only unqualified, they act to destroy the very agencies to which they have been appointed! Ms. Oyer needs to be reinstated as soon as possible. Her descriptions of the lengths to which this Mr. Blanche has gone to intimidate her and her family should be evidence enough.

I stand in agreement with you, Mr. Ludlow.

William Lulow's avatar

Thanks for the correction, although it happens all the time. Very considerate of you.

Wendy Marquardt's avatar

A person’s name is a very important thing. We should all be vigilant to ensure it’s safe keeping after we know what it is. Lulow is a lovely name…much more melodic than LuDlow. I am glad I had the chance to correct my error. 😉

Wendy Marquardt's avatar

Mr. Lulow—PLEASE accept my apology for the misspelling of your last name, I mistakenly put a “d” after the “u”…when there was not supposed to be any “d” at all. 🙃. I am sorry.

When they sell you a partial story and a bunch of crap you end up with a big hole in the ground where a military contractor built a LABRYNTH at Zorro Ranch in 2014. Funny, Fauchi, Hunter got pardons back to 2014. Obama was President.

The Ukrainian Russian conflict started in 2014.

Ms. Oyer, I believe the incredible courage and integrity you’ve shown first by not complying with a politically-motivated order and then not being quiet about your politically-motivated firing will pay off, both for you and for the better angels of this country. We are all looking for examples of courage, and you are it. Thank you for stepping up and doing the right thing.

Patricia Monique Davis's avatar

Praying for enough, “better angels 🙏🏻”

If only a book could be written about the utterances of just the two “leaders,” holding the highest offices in the land… a Go-To source for holding them accountable. Well. We do have them online. For the moment anyway… But they are working on that obstacle. History IS being erased at every turn.

Canadian here: I have been following Liz Oyer on youtube for some time now and am impressed with her intelligence and sense of integrity.

Following U.S. politics for the past couple of decades now; I am currently horrified almost on a daily basis at what can be seen happening in broad daylight and with no apparent remorse.

It is people like Liz that give me hope that good will eventually triumph over evil. Thanks for that, Liz, and all the best to you and your family.

Thank you for your courage and bravery! And, moral compass!

Dear Ms. Oyer - I am so sorry all of this has happened to you, just because you were doing an honorable job in your role as Pardon Atty. I have seen you on several "shows," including MSNow, I believe, and your story is, unfortunately, no longer shocking, as this administration and Todd Blanche in particular, has fired so many fine and upstanding people who will not bend their honor in service to the criminal in the White House. I sincerely hope your letter carries weight with the Senate Judiciary Committe and Blanche is not confirmed. This entire administration is so corrupt and so horrible, it truly boggles the mind. You are very correct that you will be on the right side of history, and Todd Blanche will be somewhere else entirely - prison perhaps. Be well...

Wendy Marquardt's avatar

I’m voting for prison…or maybe someplace worse!

I'm with you, Wendy.

I’m manifesting that with you.

Blanche has firmly enshrined himself, after Stephen Miller and Trump himself, as this regime’s most villainous and corrupt thug. Thank you Liz for your courageous and eloquent act of public service. We owe you a debt,

Patricia Monique Davis's avatar

Yes! We must support every courageous decision to speak out. If all those affected by such firings and fictitious accusations would let them be known, we might be certain of prosecuting the perpetrators. They must be stopped or we will lose our hope of maintaining any semblance of justice .

Cecilia Grittman's avatar

You cannot leave Hegseth off the list of villainous and corrupt thugs. His firings and bigotry are every bit as appalling.

I’ve written to every Republican senator…. Snailed mailed with a RBG stamp!

Wendy Marquardt's avatar

Oh, I LOVE THIS! I wrote to all of them as well…but shucks, I never thought about using RBG stamps! So glad that you did! Thank you 😊

Davis Millard's avatar

I’m sorry to say I don’t know what an RBG stamp is. Can someone enlighten me?

It looks like you got your answer! May the principles, tenacity, integrity and commitment to The Constitution that Judge Ginsberg passionately possessed be remembered for a very long time to come!

Ms. Oyer you are a true hero. It saddens me to hear what this clearly corrupt administration is putting you and your family through. But I, and I know thousands of other citizens stand beside you in your courageous and honorable efforts. Stay strong, brave, and righteous.

Christie Landes's avatar

Thank you for this letter, Ms. Oyer. It is imperative that people go on the record in opposing Blanche. Thank you for your courage, as it does require bravery to once again put yourself in the crossfire of the criminals seeking to destroy our democracy and create some hideous mutant fascist plutocracy. There is strength in numbers and you stand shoulder to shoulder with the hundreds of judges like Pillard, Boasberg, Haines, Lambert, Quraishi, Immergut, Shiltz, Sooknanan, Wilkinson, Douglas, Cooper and more who are defending the Constitution and rule of law. We are grateful to you, Ms. Oyer. I will be emailing every Republican senator to protest Blanche,s confirmation. His actions against you alone are disqualifying for the position of AG.

MJP's avatar

Thank you for everything from the Mel Gibson issue to this letter. It’s awful what you’ve been put through. Wishing you the best and a big NO on Blanche.

Our Justice Department has been purged. No one wants to work there while it was a covered position attracting the best of the best! Blanche took an oath to defend the Constitution and provide Justice to US Citizens, NOT THE PRESIDENT.

Courageous. Disturbing that lawyers are behaving this way. It’s disturbing, too, that you had to voice your concerns to a fully corrupt 92 year old, Republican, white male who was fully prepared to step into the shoes of Mike Pence and kill the country - at the direction of a child rapist president.

All the very best for you and your family and thank you for fighting on behalf of democracy

You’re so brave. No soldier on the front is braver. This is a well worded letter and I hope it gets the attention it deserves. But all you have already done and endured is remarkable and you are a remarkable person. Thank you for being a leader on this.
